Dolphin House is a B&B on Northend in Bath, offering en-suite rooms, a garden and free parking close to the city's attractions.

About Dolphin House

Dolphin House is a traditional Bath B&B set within a home on Northend, offering a relaxed, personal alternative to the city's larger hotels. It's a comfortable base for exploring Bath's historic streets and cultural sights, without the fuss of a big reception desk, though staff are available around the clock if needed.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks provided, and guests can look out over the garden, which also has outdoor seating for warmer days. A cooked breakfast is included, setting guests up for a day of sightseeing, and free on-site parking makes arriving by car straightforward in a city where that's not always easy.

Beyond the garden gate, there's a pub, restaurant and other eateries nearby, along with entertainment options and a golf course for those wanting to venture further afield. It's a quiet, homely spot to return to after a day out in Bath.

Recently had a 2 night stay here and what a little gem it was. Felt super personal and quirky. Our room was over 2 floors, with separate living and sleeping areas which we didn't expect. Room overlooked a beautiful garden and the breakfast in the little orangery was a treat. Hosts were super welcoming and provided as much or little help as required. Decor and linens are dated but it all adds to the charm. Super location for a bus into town and lots of lovely walks nearby.

Lovely period property with gorgeous garden. The hosts Jane and George were welcoming and helpful. The property is in the village of Batheaston, 15 minute bus ride to Bath. Very quiet and with comfy bed, so guaranteed a good night's sleep.

Fantastic place to stay. Old traditional house with lovely owners and a beautiful garden. Continental breakfast served in your room or in the garden. About an hours walk to Bath along a scenic canal route. Felt very welcome and would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Bath and the surrounding area.

Very big room but furniture has seen better times. Room had private bathroom but it was only accessible via the hall way and had nowhere to put your clothes apart from on top of the toilet. Overpriced for one person in my opinion. Breakfast was so-so. Lovely fresh fruit salad and a fresh croissant but only 1 slice of ham and a little cheese although both of hood quality. The earliest breakfast was served was 8 am. Parking was tight for 2 bigger cars. Owners were friendly though.
