About Charlcombe Inn

Charlcombe Inn's ten rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available to bring up, and free WiFi, giving guests a straightforward, comfortable base for a Bath stay. Accessible rooms are available, and the inn offers 24 hour reception, so arrivals outside normal hours are no trouble. Free on-site parking is a genuine plus in a city where that's often hard to come by.

Downstairs there's a bar and a restaurant serving roasts and a menu with solid meat and vegetarian choices, plus breakfast to start the day properly. Staff are generally friendly, though service can occasionally be slow to notice what guests need. A garden gives extra space to sit outside, and the property welcomes pets.

The inn sits within reach of Bath's main sights, including the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and the Royal Crescent, and the surrounding area suits walking and cycling. Nearby options extend to golf, fishing, pubs and restaurants, and other entertainment, making it easy to fill a stay beyond the city centre attractions.

A very lovely place to sit down for a bite to eat, a drink and to meet friends. The service was excellent, with one young lady seemingly handling everything, when we visited! She was great with every table. We ordered a selection of food, which were all delicious. I can whole heartedly recommend the charlcombe inn.

We do a lot of travelling around the UK, having a couple of days in various towns and cities. This small inn was an accomodation we found by accident while scrolling booking.com. this little gem would definitely be our first port of call when we come back. It is set in a beautiful small village and is only minutes from Bath and conveniently close to Bristol. This would be a fantastic starting point for anyone doing a road trip of the west country, or a base for a holiday in Bath in Bristol and surrounding area. The room is probably the best we have ever stayed in, the bed was so comfortable and the shower was superb. I have no complaints or gripes at all the feeling is very rustic and aged, yet the room is very modern and the decoration is so nice. The rooms we stayed in "Weston" room was separated from the main Inn/ public house, but it was in the same building. Our sleep was uninterrupted and we heard no noise whatsoever. Evens with a main road passing by we had the window open and still there was minimal noise, and we were not kept awake. This is a brilliant little place to use and visit. Even if not staying here, if you are in the area visit here for a meal, the food was very good

Gorgeous stay here as a little work trip to bath! Just out of the town with some stunning views! The room was clean and tidy with great care to detail and little amenities in the room too which was nice! Would highly recommend to anyone stopping by as it’s quaint The breakfast selection included too was phenomenal and the service was quick in the restaurant too with juices and hot drinks available! The eggs + avocado were amazing and the salmon and scrambled eggs were great too! Would highly recommend even to stop off for breakfast

My friend and I had breakfast there this morning and it was lovely. We also had a nice long chat with the staff and chef and listened to their funny stories of running this place. They are all lovely and friendly and very helpful, excellent visit and will definitely go back soon, thanks for the entertainment x
