Mumba

Masood made both my wedding dinner and dance and my mum’s 60th birthday truly special at Banyan on the Thames. From the very start, he was incredibly helpful, always answering calls and going the extra mile during both the planning and on the day itself. He explained everything clearly, was patient, friendly, and always respectful. What really stood out was how dedicated he was—he would even answer the phone when he wasn’t at work just to reassure us and make sure everything was perfect. He never once made us feel dismissed. He also arranged beautiful hotel rooms for us, which made the whole experience even more memorable. His staff were efficient, well-trained, and everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious and served right on time. I can’t recommend Masood and his team enough—thank you for making our celebrations so special.

I would recommend this venue. Service was attentive, and food was well presented and clearly well prepared on site in a decent on site kitchen and by a chef. Dont be afraid to ask for variations at this place so you get it how you want it. Seasoning you can ask, if you want it dry, or hot, or extra whatever. I had sea bass which was beautifully presented but for me i needed some punch, so i asked for a chilli. This came chopped and delivered the required punch.! The owner was floating about, front of house and table staff were able to tend to our needs very Well and everyone clearly appreciated our custom. There was a birthday also at the other end of the place, this didnt interfere at all with my quiet anniversary meal. Great view of thames. Cocktails made perfectly too. All in all, a diamond amongst the coal. Come, a pleasant experience how it should be. ! Photo of empty plate!.

A friend recommended this restaurant to me when I was looking for the perfect place to host my baby shower, and I am honestly so glad they did. From the very first conversation with the manager, everything felt well organised and stress-free. I spoke with him directly, paid my deposit, arranged a private seating area and selected food choices for each of my guests. He stayed in regular contact with me right up until the day of the event to make sure everything was in place and that the day would run smoothly. On the day of the baby shower, the service exceeded all of my expectations. The staff were absolutely amazing – friendly, professional, attentive and always happy to help. The manager was outstanding and made sure everything was running perfectly throughout the event. The level of customer service was truly five-star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and made the whole experience feel special and well looked after. The food and drinks were excellent, with everyone commenting on how nice their meals were. The venue itself was perfect for an event like this, with plenty of space for all of my guests and enough room for me to play all of my baby shower games without feeling crowded. The atmosphere was lovely and made the whole celebration even more enjoyable. I was also really impressed with how clean everything was, especially the toilets, which were immaculately maintained throughout the event. It is small details like this that really show how much care and effort the staff put into their service. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to host an event, whether it is a birthday, anniversary, baby shower, or even just a special date night. There is plenty of space, great food, excellent service and a welcoming environment. I will definitely be returning in the future, and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family.

We have recently book Banyan to celebrate my husband’s 52nd birthday. The service was incredible from the beginning: we had stayed at the hotel for a couple of days and ate ate the restaurant: the food was incredible, and so was the service. After we finished, we talked to Masood, who was incredibly friendly and helpful, and he arranged a space for us to fit almost 30 people, almost last minute and during the Christmas season. The dinner was perfect, the atmosphere was amazing and Mosood’s team was as nice as he had been to us. All our friends left the venue saying wonderful things about the place, the staff and the food. I really recommend the garlic prawns, the filet and lamb. Best of all: great food at a very fair price. I really recommend Banyan if you want to have a great meal in front of the Thames or have your event organised there.
