Booked for a friend who was visiting Belfast. The team couldn't have been more helpful. My friend really enjoyed her stay and was so happy with everything. Would definitely book here again. Highly recommended. ❤👏

The accomodation was clean and tidy, very spacious and comfortable, a lot more than expected for central Belfast! The check in process was very easy and straightforward and the communication with the host was also very good. Close to the city centre - walking distance and although there is no dedicated parking space you can always find to park on the street in front of the apartment. Not fully functional kitchen but there is a communal space with a microwave, plates and cutleries to use.

Excellent value B&B. Clearly lots of time effort and money spent restoring this period property. Lots of high quality fixtures and fitting, lovely shower room with under floor heating. Comfortable bed for very good nights sleep. Breakfast is great. Mandy the owner is warm friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

This Harpers would do if you were stuck in Belfast and had nowhere else to stay for a night or two I guess. All a bit run down and shabby these days. Many derelict buildings in the street, starting actually just a few doors away. The few hotels nearby, including the one directly opposite are now closed to the public as refugee centers. Homeless people and obvious addicts around the area, and not particularly the safest feeling in that part of the city at night. The accommodation itself would have been beautiful when the display pictures were taken 10 plus years ago. My room was very small, with one side of the bed pushed against the widow, which had a heavy plastic/nylon curtain thing, that actually had holes worn through. The bed was done, as was the little writing desk and chair… all very tired and depressing. The room was too small for a wardrobe, so had a shelf rack on the wall with hangers which worked. The carpet was very badly stained and had been scrubbed in spots with some kind of bleaching agent… and was just a mess. The toilet lid was missing, and there was black mould in the shower area and a mould smell in there. Some amateur repair silicone from back in the day was now moulded also, and coming away loose where the walls meet the floor. The Bush TV was knackered and every door in the building SLAMMED closed as guests came and went. The front steps were ridiculous, actually not visible buried beneath leaves and food takeaway wrapping etc, that obviously housekeeping stepped over and ignored the 12 days I stayed there. The place isn’t cheap by no means, and when budget accommodation (Holiday Inns etc) are being commandeered by government in the city to house refugees… accommodation like Harper’s don’t really have to keep up anymore… standards can fall and prices can rise in a market with less and less choice. Was offered a 20% discount for me or a friend, on my next visit for a 5 star glowing review… thanks Harpers but I’ll probably pass on that. Happy Travels
