What visitors say

Sarah Reynolds Sazberry

Great little leisure centre. Has swimming pool, gym and fitness classes as well as eye appointments and much more for health. If your a Birmingham resident you can use most of the facilities for free which is great as health is wealth. Staff are friendly and helpful and for what they offer for free you can't complain. There are not many free services about so take advantage whilst respecting the place

I go to this place sometimes and it is fairly good although the baby swimming pool has a bit of rust and the cleanlness of the changing rooms are not very pleasant. I also saw a piece of tissue floating around which was not nice and for somewhat reason, there is sand or something like that near the slide which has been shut down since 2020. In my opinion, over the last few years it has gotton worse and worse.

Me and my family visit this leisure centre for a while now. I can say it is one of the best for small or big children's. There is a lot of supervisors when adults and children joining the pool. Hygiene is high and all members of staff are very polite and helpful. Best thing is, Wheelchairis availablewhich is really appreciated. The gym is also free and everything seems to be working well, There is always someone to help you if you struggle. I would give 10 starts if i could as this place is really the best in Birmingham. From small to big kid .

My daughter and her friend were dropped to Kingstanding Leisure Centre. They were excited to swim and they brought money with them to pay for swimming. When they got there they were told that they needed a membership card to swim. They didn't make an exception even though no one could pick them up until a few hours later. They had no choice but to walk in the rain and thunder all the way to Great Barr which took them 43 minutes.
