About The Kingstanding Inn
Warren Farm Road sits in Birmingham's Kingstanding area, a residential stretch of the city with golf and fishing nearby and a scattering of pubs and restaurants within easy reach. The Kingstanding Inn is a traditional pub with rooms, giving guests the choice of a proper local downstairs and somewhere comfortable to retreat to afterwards.
Rooms here are generally spacious, with en-suite bathrooms, family options for those travelling with children, and drinks available in-room. That said, upkeep isn't always consistent, and some rooms have been found lacking in basic amenities, so it's worth setting expectations accordingly. Breakfast is well regarded, and the kitchen also does packed lunches and kids' meals, with a bar and outdoor seating for a drink at the end of the day.
The staff and management are a particular strength, with a helpful and welcoming approach that guests notice. Practical extras include free WiFi, meeting rooms, 24-hour reception and free on-site parking, making this a straightforward base for exploring Birmingham or for visitors with business in the area.

What guests say
Used their function room for my daughters birthday party and the experience was a positive one. Friendly staff helped with my queries and the room was reasonable for the price. furniture a bit outdated and a few broken tables and chairs but hey who's complaing. I would recommend this place for functions !

My husband and children booked a table for mother's day. Thought we'd try somewhere close as only had a short space of time as i care for my disabled father. Anyway booked for 2pm, got to the bar and no staff for about 10 minutes. When staff arrived we got drinks and sat down was told someone would be over to take our order soon. 20 minutes later, I believe the cook, approached us and said he would be serving food in 10 minutes. That was fine as it didn't look like much staff on anyway. 45 minutes later the cook came out and took orders from another table, which was okay because they were there before us, but it was taking long. Anyway for what ever reason we decided to wait as the food that was coming out looked lovely. But we started to notice that everyone was getting served before us even if they came after us. At 4pm we decided to leave as we had not had anyone come to apologise for the wait and no one had come to take our order. I wouldn't go there if your expecting to be fed in a timely manner, you're best off eating first. Although staff are friendly the service is terrible. Im surprised how there still open. Such a shame as it would be a great local place to eat and drink but I guess their happy with their 20 locals who come in and dont need anymore customers.

Had a terrible experience, in 36 degrees there wasn’t any fan, air conditioning or even a window. The rooms didn’t seem clean whatsoever and toilet had a really bad smell it even had insects inside. Would never recommend anyone to stay here.

I had booked 5 nights at this place but due to a personal issue I had to check out 2 hours after checking in. After multiple requests to refund me for 4 nights (as the room could still be used) the request was declined. Shocking decision by the management. The place isn't much in terms of room quality or location either. The room didn't even have a kettle. the shower had a constant drip. But, you get what you pay for sometimes. Definitely wouldn't recommend even as a last resort.
