About Adnans Hotel
Adnans Hotel keeps things simple with a restaurant and breakfast service on site, plus outdoor seating for guests who want a bit of fresh air with their meal. It's a straightforward setup for those who'd rather not venture out after a long day, though a pub and further restaurants are also within reach nearby.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks provided, and free WiFi runs throughout. Practical touches include 24 hour reception, a laundry service, and free on-site parking, which makes arriving by car easy enough. This is a budget option focused on covering the basics rather than added polish.
The Coventry Road address puts guests within reach of entertainment and a golf course locally, useful for those splitting their time between the city and the wider West Midlands. It suits travellers who want an affordable base with meals sorted and parking included, rather than a destination in itself.
What guests say
It's near BHX and cheap but very basic. The bed was clean and comfortable, so job done for the one night stay which I booked. The room was very small but there was a TV, kettle and even a microwave. No frills but only 29quid for the night. BHX is only 10mins away by the regular X1 or X21 bus service from across the road. That same service going the other way gets you into Birmingham city centre in about 35 minutes. As I say, no frills but also no big bill. I'd stay here again.

Why did I give it 5/5? First of all, this is the only place near the airport where you can stay for £49 per night as a family of 2 adults and 3 children, with two double beds in one room – that alone makes it worth it! We called the reception thinking it was “Adnan’s Hotel,” but we were actually welcomed by Gables Hotel Solihull. It seems that the photos provided might be from rooms at Adnan’s Hotel, not Gables – the actual rooms at Gables Hotel are different. Still, in terms of price-performance and cleanliness, it’s a perfectly acceptable place to stay.

I would not recommend this hotel for the price and definitely do not recommend it if you stay longer than a few days. You can get better hotels for only a little bit more money closer to Birmingham. The location was alright. If you need to go to the airport after checking out, it is very close. Also there was a bus stop where the x1 stopped, which drives to the Birmingham city center. The bathroom could've been cleaner. There was mold on the wall. The bedroom was not very clean either. Odd stains on the curtains and the surface of the table next to the bed was not clean. The windows were very thin, so the noise of the big main road right next to the hotel was really bad. Also the bed was uncomfortable.

Refused refund after cancelling within cancellation window and being assured we would receive a full refund. Taking to small claims court.
