I've stayed here several times and will continue to do so. Very friendly and helpful staff who remember and welcome warmly their repeat guests. Clean and pleasant rooms and public areas. Good WIFI. The breakfast is excellent especially the lovely fruit salad. The chef talks to every guest to make sure they have exactly what they want. Plenty of parking. Overall great value, way nicer than other chains. NB there is no lift, corridors go up and down where the buildings join, I think there are only one or two ground floor rooms, and a few bathrooms are really tiny, so make enquiries before booking if you have a disability or are on the larger side.

Great location. Parking not a problem. Plenty of reasonably priced places to grab a bite to eat. Rooms are good, but the bathroom got far too hot, even with the radiator turned off. A small fridge in the rooms would be very useful too. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a good way to kick-start the day.

I recently stayed at Garner and had a mixed experience. Pros: - Good location. - Ample parking available. - Clean room and bathroom. - Breakfast was good with a decent selection. Cons: - No air conditioning, so it can be uncomfortable during summer and heatwaves. - No lift, which may be inconvenient if you have heavy luggage. - Housekeeping needs improvement the body wash dispenser was empty and the bed wasn't made during my stay. - The hotel layout is quite confusing and finding your room can feel like navigating a maze. Overall, it's a decent place to stay thanks to its location, cleanliness, parking and breakfast, but there is definitely room for improvement in housekeeping and guest comfort.

We had an amazing stay at the Garner Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was fantastic. The receptionist in particular went completely above and beyond for us — extremely polite, welcoming, and such great energy throughout. The whole experience was smooth, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable. It’s rare to come across customer service that good nowadays, so it really stood out. Thank you again for such a lovely stay — we’ll definitely be back.
