Leaf & Cane

We’ve used the event space at Leaf and Cane Bar several times over the past year and it has been consistently excellent every single time. The location is incredibly convenient - just a few minutes’ walk from Blackfriars Station - which makes it ideal for bringing groups together easily from across London. The venue itself has a great atmosphere, including some lovely outdoor spaces that work perfectly for both relaxed social events and more organised gatherings. What really makes the experience stand out, though, is the staff. Every member of the team has been genuinely attentive, supportive, and incredibly accommodating whenever we’ve hosted events there. Nothing ever feels too much trouble, and they really do go out of their way to make sure everything runs smoothly and that everyone has a great time. The space is also wonderfully flexible depending on the type of event you’re hosting. There’s a huge TV for sports events, and later in the evening karaoke is available, which always adds to the fun and atmosphere. Whether you’re planning drinks, a celebration, or a group gathering, they really help tailor the evening to what you need. A fantastic venue with brilliant staff, great facilities, and an ideal central location - we’ll definitely continue using it for future events.

I had a wonderful fleeting visit whilst getting a quick drink whilst I waited for a friend. I was nervous it was going to be a hotel vibe where outside visits did not belong. I could not have been more wrong. One side of the place had louder music, for those that were in a weekend spirit, and another side that had quiet space for those that wanted a chat. The bar staff were amazing with lots of options for cocktails as well as offering your standard wine or beer on draft. I thoroughly recommend this hidden gem for those that want an affordable wrapped in luxury experience.

WOW!! We absolutely loved Caspar. Great customer service especially for a solo bartender. Listened to our needs and gave us wonderful recommendations. I have never had such great service before. You have to try his creations. 100% a must place to come.

We had a confirmed reservation for four people, but when we arrived, the person managing the reservations, Jesus, told us there was nothing he could do because the venue was “fully booked.” The only solution he offered was a table for two people, despite our confirmed booking. This is completely unprofessional. They don’t even have a proper reservation management system—just an old paper notebook that looked like it was from the 1970s. It’s unbelievable that a business still operates this way instead of using a reliable online booking system. Because of their poor organization, we had to cancel our plans with our friends. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the bar was practically empty. There were plenty of empty tables, so the “fully booked” excuse made no sense. Very disappointing experience. Poor customer service, disorganized reservation management, and unfriendly staff. I would not recommend this place.
