Westbourne sits on Poole's coast as an upmarket Victorian village with its own covered arcade, independent boutiques and waterside cafés. The Hideout occupies the second floor of a residential building here, giving you a private entrance and your own space away from the ground level. The beach is roughly a mile and a half away; the clifftop green spaces and chines that lead down to the sand are closer still for walks.
Inside, you have a bedroom with a kingsize bed, a bathroom with both a bath and separate walk-in shower, and an open-plan living area that includes a fully fitted kitchen with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and all the basics. The sitting room has a large smart TV and a sofa bed, so there's genuine sleeping room for four. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. There is parking for one car outside, and you have access to a shared garden with the other residents on-site. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside.

Today (08/08/26), we had our daughter’s 2nd birthday at Hideout Cafe. What a wonderful, clean and organised environment and experience for my daughter (as well as us adults, great hot drinks & treats!) and all of her friends that came to her birthday party today! The staff were so attentive and kind, nothing was a hassle or bother for them! They made us feel so welcome and relaxed, I was able to play with my daughter and have time with her and had nothing to worry about, it was all in hand and taken great care of by the Hideout Team! 100% would recommend their parties, absolutely fab time we had! Faultless! In addition kids buffet 10/10 fresh, mix of stuff not just sweet heavy, lovely fresh fruit and sandwiches!

Such a nice and quiet soft play! Great to take your little one out for an hour without loads of kids screaming around. So many toys and not over stimulating at all! So clean and ball pit is a big hit!

I went to a lovely Easter event with my Little boy. He enjoyed it very much! The staff are lovely and the activities were very entertaining. At the end of the session, the kids were given an easter egg. By mistake I had not put my LO as a dairy allergic on the booking, but the lady had an extra “free from dairy” one and very kindly gave it to us! Thank you so much! Xx Will definitely be back!

We held our little boy’s 2nd birthday party at The Hideout and he absolutely loved it. The team were so friendly and helpful from start to finish. There was plenty of food, and they catered really well for an allergy within our group, which we really appreciated. It’s immaculately clean, and they also have a great selection of refreshments for the grown-ups too. Such a lovely place for a party, we’ll definitely be back!
