About Premier Inn Bournemouth Westbourne

Bournemouth Beach, the pier and town centre are all within easy reach, and Westbourne village itself, with its own shops, pubs and restaurants, sits right on the doorstep. Golf, fishing and watersports are also within range for those wanting to make more of a day of it, making Premier Inn Bournemouth Westbourne a practical base for exploring the area on foot or by car.

The hotel has 168 rooms across five floors, each with air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom, plus drinks available in room. There are accessible rooms and a lift for those who need them, along with 24 hour reception and luggage storage for flexible arrivals and departures. A restaurant and bar operate on site, and breakfast is served each morning, generally considered one of the better parts of the stay.

Free WiFi and an electric vehicle charge point are available, and on-site parking can be arranged, though it is chargeable and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with overflow parking available nearby on Clarendon Road. Staff are generally helpful, though service can be inconsistent at busier times, and some rooms show signs of wear rather than being freshly finished.

I visited here recently with my children age 3 years old and five years old and my other half. When we arrived at the hotel, It was easy check-in straight upstairs into our room. To which we was greeted with a dirty pair of men’s underwear With holes in it. And top it off the underwear has stains of faeces. This is completely unacceptable and all we got in return was a free meal. My child was so close to picking them up to which I was horrified. On another note; The room was extremely hot The window does not open and the air-conditioner Was absolutely rubbish and that’s no exaggeration. Me and my children were waking up through the night all sweaty. I actually had cold showers at 3 am To call off it was that hot. I went down to reception. I think it was around 2 am On the first night to see if they have any fans, They said they will turn the air-conditioning up. I can honestly say I didn’t notice any change whatsoever and I was glad to leave. I will not be returning to this hotel. The only upside that I have to say, The man who works on a bar was extremely attentive, Always seemed happy Unfortunately, the rest let it down

From the first day, there were problems. The staff were rude and not helpful at all, especially the male staff, with the exception of the youngest employee, who was very kind and helpful. All of the female staff were also friendly and helpful. Our first room was disgusting. The bathroom smelled strongly of urine, as if it had been sprayed everywhere. We were told that changing rooms was not possible. However, the following morning, a female member of staff changed our room without any issue, which makes the previous refusal difficult to understand. The parking was another disappointment. It cost £10.50, and after leaving the car park, it was almost impossible to find another parking space if you returned later. This was my first stay at this Premier Inn, and it will definitely be my last. I have stayed in many Premier Inn hotels before, but this is by far the worst. The only positive was that the room was cheap and had air conditioning. I would avoid this hotel!

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times, but this occation was the worst. We stayed over the bank holiday weekend 24th/ 26th May. As you can see from the photos the chair had a stain on it which we didn't know what it was. The carpet was stained in numerous places and the extra bed was not needed. We asked for it to be moved but they said no. As you can see there is a inner door which someone tried to enter late at night while I was in bed. My husband had to shout at them that the room was occupied. This door should have been locked and it wasn't. We complained and staff came and locked it. They said they would speak to housekeeping. The rooms need a good clean and refurbishment. Hallway carpet was dirty and smelly. The air-conditioning was very noisy and we had to turn it off at night. On a plus the breakfast was very good and the staff were helpful and always on hand. Will not stay at this Premier Inn again.

Lousy Premier Inn, badly run down, with unhelpful staff. I was unilaterally downgraded upon check-in from the twin room I had booked, to a double because the humour-starved desk assistant decided “well you won’t need a twin”. Left me wondering if he drives a car with one seat and buys bread by the slice. The room I was given was quite hostel-like in upkeep, next to a door which slammed constantly (all that needed was a soft-close bracket or some felt pads). The bathroom smelt of urine. There were no plug sockets anywhere near the bed - which in 2026 is really poor. However there were FIVE inexplicably located in the wardrobe unit. Go figure! The carpet had its heyday in the mid 90s by the looks of it and the less said about the stains on sofa-thing the better. “Come again!?” I thought. The layout of the hotel is weird, signage was just plain incorrect - directing people to first floor rooms down a ground floor corridor (see photo). The number of doors you’ll need to navigate to get to your room is like a physical manifestation of trying to authenticate yourself on a HMRC website from an unfamiliar device whilst flying over Russia. The parking terms are unnecessary aggressive, allowing only a 10 minute stop and drop - which is just not enough, nasty given the size, layout, incorrect signage and number of doors in the property. If I get a £100 fine I’ll be unilaterally downgrading it to £2.75, because, like the room downgrade, that’s all I need. Premier Inn will defer all parking feedback to the third party who manage their car parks (usually Horizon) as if Whitbread have no say in the terms of them, no control, never met the man. They have every say, sign-off and control over everything. But nice try.
