The Willows dates to 1925 and sits within St Catherine's Hill Nature Reserve, a wooded heathland setting that feels tucked away yet puts you minutes from Christchurch town, Bournemouth beaches and the New Forest. The cottage has real period character: downstairs, a living room centred on a working wood burner opens through patio doors to an enclosed garden, with a separate kitchen-dining room that seats six. A bathroom with bath and shower completes the ground floor.
Upstairs are three bedrooms—one with a king bed, two with doubles—and a second bathroom featuring a roll-top bath and walk-in shower. Throughout, the place is furnished for actual living: televisions in the bedrooms and living room, a full kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, parking for two cars on site, and wifi. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with initial fuel for the wood burner. No smoking indoors.
The location works for families wanting outdoor space and nature walks, or for couples exploring Christchurch's harbour, beaches and historic sites without needing to be in town itself. A cot and highchair are available if needed.
