Hotel 50

This really is a great little hotel. Me and a workmate set up camp here for 3 weeks! We've worked down in Bournemouth quite a lot in the past year, stayed in roughly 7, 8, or 9 different Hotels, B&B's, and Airbnb's - and let me tell you, I think we have, in the end, found a hotel where we can finally rely on to rest our heads if we ever work down there again. Bedrooms: Everything was spotlessly clean. Not only did things look immaculate, it smelt clean too. Anyone after a hard day at work would greatly appreciate that. There was a kettle, tea, coffee, fresh milk, and even complimentary biscuits - all to either help you get ready and set up for the day or to finally unwind for the night. Bathroom and Showers were gleaming too. Hot water wasn't an issue, never once was I caught off guard by a freezing cold shower. Might sound daft for even mentioning this, but there was even plenty of towels to use. All of which were pristine. Most importantly the Bed. Great night sleep, very comfortable mattress and pillows - absolutely spotless bedding, and smelt fresh too. What more could you want? Breakfast: We had a cooked breakfast everyday, and not once was I disappointed. Along with our breakfasts, we were greeted every morning with a pot of tea, fresh milk, fresh fruit, and condiments (butter, jam, sauces, sugar etc). Host: Mel was a fantastic host. You can tell she cares for her hotel and for her customers. Anyone would be able to see that nothing is done by a half measure at Hotel 50. Altogether, it felt like a home away from home. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks again for everything Mel.

Cant believe this is only a 3 star hotel. The rooms were done to a high standard with everything you could possibly need. Matt and Mel are such a lovely couple. This definitely had a 5 star feel to the whole experience. I would definitely stay here again.

The best hotel I’ve ever been by far! They have vegan options for breakfast, they were ready to get us some gluten-free bread if we wanted to! The room and the bathroom were spotless, the pillows and bed were super comfortable! I will for sure come back!

The best experience. We went for our first holiday with a 9 month old baby. Matt and Mel were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was superb and airy, breakfast was always freshly made and there were always suggestions for activities. Highly recommend!
