What guests say
When are you actually going to clean this place? It’s filthy all the time. Rubbish lying around constantly, common areas look like they haven’t been touched in days, and the rooms aren't much better. It's honestly unacceptable for a hotel. Guests shouldn’t have to ask for basic hygiene—do your job.

The room was nice and clean. The staff were polite, but maintenance was pretty bad. The window didn't shut fully so the room was quite cold. The shower wasn't especially hot and the temperature fluctuated. Breakfast was quite nice, especially the hash browns. The tea bags were incredibly weak, though.

It was certainly a case of getting what you paid for. I booked a double en-suite room, but the "double" bed ended up being two singles pushed together so when you tried to turn over, you fell in the gap between the mattresses. The bathroom was small, extremely cold - the only heating in the room was provided by a mobile convection heater which I had to place just by the bathroom door to warm the bathroom. Also the bathroom was full of black mould (probably due to the lack of heating). The shower which at first looked very promising turned out to be a huge disappointment........it seemed like a power shower where the pump had failed and water "dribbled" through......it took a fair while before warm water started to come through. Unfortunately I can't see me staying at this particular establishment even if I paid £22 for the night.

Stayed here for 3 nights, Friday-Monday. When booking it on the phone the guy did warn us that there's going to be big groups of people and they're likely to come back after drinking and being loud. We arrived, the receptionist was lovely and very welcoming - luckily she was working the whole weekend with us and she helped us with ideas on where to eat, where to go during the day etc etc. Although we both slept all night, the windows were very thin so we could hear everything being said when a group of drunks were going past shouting, the walls and doors are also very thin so could hear everything going on in the hall way and was too scared to move around in case everyone else could hear us walking around. The wifi wasn't great but I wasn't really expecting it to be. Breakfast was really nice although it was in the hotel next door and they didn't check we were even from the hotel so anyone could have walked in. On the website it says they have swimming pools and sell food all day and stuff but they don't and when I asked they said it was because no-one used it but she did give us addresses of near by swimming pools and prices which was decent of her! Because they don't sell food or drinks I would recommend them getting a vending machine or something just so we don't have to leave the hotel for a quick drink or snack. The housekeeping wasn't that good, we came back from the beach and it was clear the housekeeper had been in because she left her notes but she didn't top up the tea, the soaps, the toilet roll etc, the towels weren't changed and she turned the heater off but we turned it on as we left so the room would be warm when we returned. Sunday day time and night time there didn't seem to be anyone around in reception so if we needed anything no-one would be around to help. Giving 3/5 because of the few downers but I would definitely come back, the prices are good for what you get!
