We stayed at Lincoln house briefly, booked late by phone and arrived even later. Owners were really accommodating and stayed up to welcome us and check us in. Beds were comfortable with plump pillows and heavy duvets. En suite bathroom was really clean with a powerful shower. The complimentary soaps/tea/coffee/biscuits were a nice touch and made us feel welcome. We left at first light so didn’t have much time to experience more but we got what we needed- a pleasant welcome, comfortable nights sleep and a nice cuppa in the morning before we left 👍

Beware, the caretaker is a cheat! He changed the price of the room on the booking website, multiplying it by 2, after we called to book a room at 11pm. He then offered a small discount if we paid cash. He didn't take cards anyway... He was ready to throw us out with our 3 sleeping children if we didn't pay right away. I hope the owners read this review, their nice house is not treated in a hospitable way...
