About New Westcliff Hotel
Breakfast and a proper sit-down dinner are both catered for at the New Westcliff Hotel, where an on-site restaurant and bar anchor the day alongside free WiFi throughout. The building itself is a Victorian property with 53 rooms, giving it a slightly old-fashioned, unfussy character rather than a polished modern feel.
Beyond the restaurant, guests have use of an indoor swimming pool, a spa and sauna, and a garden for stepping outside, while a lift makes moving between floors straightforward. Childcare is available for families who need it, and there's a bowling green and cinema on site for something to do without leaving the grounds.
Bournemouth's beaches and attractions are close by, and the surrounding area has further pubs, bars and restaurants within easy reach for evenings out. It suits those after a straightforward, well-located base in Bournemouth rather than a luxury stay.

What guests say
Mike on reception was very helpful. In fact all the staff I had co text with were lovely and helpful. They are obviously investing money into renovating the hotel. Smart new carpets and attractive bedroom doors. My room still had work to do inside. Tired looking bed and bed linen but I have to say it gave me a good nice sleep. The bedroom needs a little work but was clean , the shower wasn't great but I enjoyed a lovely bath. Not sure what I'd of done had I needed to wash my hair. Breakfast was great. Cooked to order so everyone will be happy. Newly decorated with new carpets. Overall a very pleasant stay and would stay here again. I think once all the renovations are complete the hotel will be fantastic

The room was cheap which meant it would be dated which I don't mind. I only care that it's clean. When I got in the first room it had hair all over the shelf in the bathroom like someone had shaved their beard. Asked to move rooms, they were very nice and upgraded me to a double ... these are the pictures of the room... there was hair in the shower, and tea stains over the radiator. Most concerning was the damp on the ceiling though. Overall, the room was very hot as it was small and not much air flow. I didn't pay much so wasn't expecting the Ritz but this is just here to make others aware it's not very clean. Also the parking wasn't free it was £10! The whole reason I chose this place over others is that they advertised free parking. Update on the parking.... I have been given a ticket for parking there even though I paid for parking and now I am in a dispute with the parking company as they want to charge me £160. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

Fantastic service! The staff welcoming and very friendly. The room was very clean the facilities were very good all working. Needed extra tea coffee sugars and all were provided. The sauna and jacuzzi and pool was an extra treat and was all included in the price off the stay. I will definitely be returning this year. All staff including house keeping were very friendly polite and made our stay that bit more special. Would like to say a massive thank you

The hotel is very nice, and well located with many restaurants within walking distance. Even though the room was small, it had an en-suite and was very comfortable. It had a small tray with sugar, coffee and tea sachets, kettle, ironing board and iron and hair dryer and quite a few towels and toiletries. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each day we stayed at the hotel and the attention was superb. We had the opportunity to use some of the other facilities, such as: cinema, jacuzzi and swimming pool, all very enjoyable. We used the bar once and there was an excellent performance delivered by a Tyler James who has a superb voice, we really enjoyed the time there. We also used the lounge and watched a couple of programs there. The whole environment in the hotel is great, plenty of places to relax and enjoy. The staff was very helpful and friendly at all times. Would fully recommend this hotel. 5*
