A restaurant and bar sit at the heart of Washington House Hotel, alongside a daily breakfast service, making it an easy base whether you want a proper meal in or a drink in the garden before heading out for the evening. There's outdoor seating too, plus the option of drinks brought to your room.
The hotel has just 13 rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, and guests consistently find them clean, spacious and comfortable, with some rooms even fitted with private jacuzzis. Family rooms are available, and free WiFi runs throughout. Free on-site parking is a genuine plus in a seaside town where space can be tight.
Beyond the rooms, Washington House Hotel also functions as a wedding venue, with a garden setting for that. Its location near Bournemouth's beach and town centre is a regular draw, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby, plus golf, fishing and watersports within reach, and the New Forest National Park not far off for a change of scene. I just wanted to say that this deserves to be a 5-star resort. It has been absolutely amazing so far – a truly incredible experience. The people who own and run the hotel have been so welcoming, friendly and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We booked the King Room with the private jacuzzi, and it has been an absolutely fantastic experience. The room is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and the jacuzzi has made our stay even more relaxing and memorable. To be honest, this has exceeded our expectations and, in our opinion, has been an even better experience than some of the Hilton hotels we’ve stayed in. Without hesitation, we would book this resort again in the blink of an eye. I’m really looking forward to the rest of our stay and creating even more wonderful memories. I’ll also be sharing my experience with my Instagram followers and leaving a Google review. Thank you for making our stay so special so far.

Superb family run hotel, our room was lovely and spacious. Everything was clean and well maintained.Hotel staff went out of their way to help us and parking is availble on site. Cant recommend highjly enough. Will defineatly stayy again when I'm in the area.

Lovely clean, tidy, spacious comfortable room. Free parking which is always a plus ! Bed a little lumpy but ok. The only downside was blinds at the window that still let it lots of light when closed and no curtains. Apart from that good value for money.

The staff here are super friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is in a perfect location and our room was excellent, spacious and well furnished and spotless. The bathroom was lovely with a large walk in shower. Highly recommended
