Good food and drinks, staff were mainly excellent, apart from the bar man who told us that we couldn't order a particular shot (tequila) because "it's not that type of venue"...... we were a group of 3 friends in our late 30s with our children celebrating my birthday so wanted a celebratory shot. Strange. Otherwise it was a beautiful venue and great vegan options on the menu!

Nice place, friendly. Katy was a very nice hostess. Dinner was OK but not being British and not understanding what was on the menu I can't judge if it was good or not (although the French fries were delicious). Bed was good and not the new foam mattresses that are in all the hotels and which wreck my back. The Breakfast was quite good with excellent coffee. I'm not much of a drinker but the bar atmosphere was nice from what I observed. Great, nice sized shower but small bathroom. A bit hard for a big guy like me to turn around in. Room was quiet with a good television. Watched some great British game shows. I'd stay there again.

Lovely little hotel, clean, warm welcome, the outside bar area is a lovely place to sit with a drink, staff are amazingly helpful and friendly! It was our 10th wedding anniversary and birthday combined, we were given a complimentary liquor drink on arrival and we were very well looked after throughout our stay! Room nice and modern and clean! Couldn’t fault it, everything is local and accessible. We will definitely be back again for an overnight stay!
