Great pod with good heating and insulation. Clean and tidy. Beautiful grounds and surroundings. Perfect for a holiday with a dog. No walking trails nearby. Nearest trail was blocked by a gate.

Writing this on our last morning here. A superb location. 9 pods means quiet and serene, great amenities with showers, toilets, kitchen, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, table tennis table and plenty of places to sit outside. The pods are very well built. We stayed in Pod 9 which sleeps two. There is a heater on a thermostat. Two wall sockets, each with two USB points. Each pod has a car parking space. ****Adding additional info -Aug 2025.*** We stayed again, this time with our 3 boys (10, 11, and 17). Again, everything was perfect. This time we did end up in the lodge and whilst not the same intimate family experience as the Pods, the lodge is a super venue with an amazing uninterrupted view over the lake. Having our own bathroom was a nice perk. Julie and the team were great in making the stay wonderful for us all. Thanks again, we will no doubt see you again in 2026!

What a fabulous place to stay!! Affordable, comfortable, great location and you don’t have to worry about the rain! Great to have plug sockets in the pod, and enough room in there to do yoga! Good clean facilities but some very minor areas for improvement - would prefer hand dryers rather than paper towels, the toilet door handles are a bit wobbly, and the taps spray a lot which leaves you with a damp jumper! We also arrived at 3:30pm but the code hadn’t been changed to access our key yet, despite check in being from 2pm. A few hooks inside (or outside) the pod would be useful too. Other than that all fab and we will definitely be back!

Me and my son had the best time here! For a campsite I found everything immaculately clean! The pod was very cosy and we loved the under floor heating when it was colder! If I had any questions about anything, Alan was very helpful and informative about the site and the area, and he also kept everything maintained around the site and works hard to keep everyone's stay as happy as possible! He definately made our stay thoroughly enjoyable and memorable and can't thank him enough! We would definately come back and would definately recommend!
