Sweet Pickle Cottage
Wiltshire
Sweet Pickle Cottage is a converted pair of workers' cottages in Wingfield, a quiet village in the Wiltshire countryside. The building retains its 19th-century character while offering the essentials for a self-catering stay: a full kitchen for cooking, a sitting room with wood burner and television, and a small snug for reading. Logs for the stove are provided. The cottage sleeps four across a king bedroom and a double bedroom upstairs, with a bathroom containing both bath and shower. One dog is welcome here.
Outside, the front and back gardens are set up for sitting and eating, with a barbecue and fire pit among the furniture. There is parking for two cars. WiFi and heating are included, along with bed linen and towels. The village pub is within walking distance, and Bradford on Avon—with its independent shops, cafés and riverside walks—is a short drive away. Bath and Longleat are also easily reached by car. The surrounding area offers good walking and cycling.
