About Widbrook Barns
Widbrook Barns offers bed and breakfast accommodation in a converted barn setting on the edge of Bradford-on-Avon, with a garden and barbecue area that guests are encouraged to make use of in warmer months. The property sits close to the Kennet and Avon Canal, making it a popular choice for anyone planning a narrowboat trip or a day exploring the towpath.
Rooms are simply but comfortably furnished, with the emphasis on a relaxed, informal stay rather than a full hotel service, and breakfast is served using local produce where possible. The setting on the edge of town gives easy access to Widbrook Grange and Woolley Grange for dinner without the need for a car.
Its position just outside the centre suits visitors who want a quieter base within easy walking or cycling distance of Bradford-on-Avon's shops, markets and Saxon church.

Absolutely fabulous stay here. Cannot find any fault whatsoever. Dick, the host was amazing and couldn't do enough to help make us feel comfortable. We stayed in Famous Five and the beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was spot on! Location was perfect. We will definitely be back!

We recently enjoyed a wonderful weekend break at Widbrook Barns while visiting family locally, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, with lovely countryside surroundings that made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and finished to a high standard, with lots of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast menu was excellent, the food was amazing, even our dog had a sausage for breakfast. We especially loved the tranquil atmosphere and the attention to detail that made the whole experience feel special. It was an ideal base for exploring the local area while still feeling like a quiet retreat away from everything. We would highly recommend Widbrook Barns to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside getaway, with first class breakfast and exceptional friendly service. We would definitely love to return in the future

Outstanding! We had been promising ourselves a long weekend in around Bath for sometime but wanted to stay away from the city and travel to and fro by public transport. We came across Wildbrook Barns purely by accident. And very pleased we did too! A warm welcome from Dick (and his eau de white spirit!!) who gave us a brief tour of the site. Our room, 'The Famous Five', was warm, cosy, spotlessly clean, with two very comfortable single beds. The 'fridge in the room is functional but VERY small; just enough room for six 250ml tins of pre-mixed G&T. Other pre-mixed drinks are available!! There is a large commercial chilled cabinet in the communal kitchen for guests to use. The breakfast offered is phenomenal! Possibly the best we have ever seen in all our years of staying at B&B's. Nothing is too much trouble and if you want more you only have to ask. If you're out and about during the day, you won't need to look for somewhere for lunch. All in all, an unforgettable three nights, in a lovely setting and the most wonderful staff to look after you. We WILL be back!

We had to find somewhere to stay as we were attending a friend’s birthday party not far from there. I’m so glad I found this place as it was very friendly. Lovely room’s, food was really nice. We will definitely be heading back with the children to explore more of the area in the future.
