About Aberbran Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
Set in a converted railway station within the Brecon Beacons National Park, Aberbran offers a peaceful, no-frills base for walking and birdwatching enthusiasts. The location puts you close to the Park's Mountain Centre, where you can pick up trail maps and grab refreshments on the terrace with sweeping views across the hills. Families and dogs are welcome, and there's fishing nearby for anglers.
The market town of Brecon lies within easy reach, with its Tuesday and Friday markets, monthly craft fairs showcasing Welsh goods, and the popular Jazz Festival each August. While the site keeps things straightforward and relaxed, some visitors note that facilities can feel a touch dated in places – but for those prioritising scenery and access to the national park over bells and whistles, it's hard to beat.

What visitors say
An absolute hidden gem of a campsite. Friendly wardens who gave a proper welcome. Showing all about the area and the popular things to do (so handy!) very tidy site but well laid out. All the water, waste and chemical disposal points were well spaced out and close, well maintained grass and lovely and peaceful and quiet. Just the birds can be heard - absolutely lovely stay at this site.

Really like this place. Stayed here twice now in our tourer. Pitches are big, site is small. Other than water, toilet disposal and electric there is nothing else here but that’s what makes it perfect. Helpful friendly staff, only ever met nice people staying, short dog walk at the back which is enough to do what needs to be done, all perfect. Brecon is 10 mins up the road for your shopping and everything can be brought there. Our dogs on raw and even that can be purchased easily so no need to bring tonnes. So much to do in the area, and you’re close to it all. It’s just lovely.

Lovely peaceful site set in an old railway station. Ideal for walking, cycling or bus in to Brecon. Pick your own fruit farm a very short walk away. Site kept very nice with a lovely lady who looks after it

This is a great site for a quiet getaway but you do need to be self contained as there are no toilets/showers. There is water and a chemical toilet point though. The wardens are excellent, helpful and friendly. The only downside is there didn't appear to be anywhere to walk easily so we pretty much just stayed onsite and chilled.
