Excellent place. Right next to the canal (very convenient for my towpath cycle rides), quiet, beautiful scenery, clean, well appointed, with friendly helpful hosts. Good solid breakfasts, historic location and surrounded by wildlife. Lovely place to stay.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Room was clean and modern. Loved a bit of quirkiness. I would warn anyone there are step steps to the room but we were ok with that. Ideally you need a car to travel about but local walks along the canal are lovely too.

We have just spent a week at Bullrush Barn. Comunication with the owners was spot on. Lovely location and views. Accomodation was great, very clean and highly recommended. Situated almost next to the canal with lots of walks along the towpath. Electric car charging point was very handy as we came in an EV. Brecon a short drive away was good to stock up on essentials. The White Hart Inn nearby was great for food and a pint.

Absolutely stunning. The location was idyllic and the room was clean, spacious, well appointed and calm. Rachael is a great host, nothing was too much trouble and the welcome was sincere and warm. Breakfast was a treat each morning and everything was cooked to perfection and the local produce tasted exquisite. If you need a break from busy day to day pressure, I highly recommend this place for a quiet, relaxing break to recharge and re energise. The scenery puts the cherry on top
