This is a superb B and B. Conveniently located a stone’s throw from the centre of Brecon, it enjoys an elevated position off a quiet road with incredible views of the Beacons. We travelled with friends and were met by the owner with a very warm welcome. Both rooms were huge with comfortable beds, beautiful en-suites and every convenience. The Welsh cakes on arrival were a lovely touch. Breakfast was superb, with a dizzying array of fresh fruit, compotes, yogurts etc. and the cooked options, which are made to order, were simply delicious! Overall, Camden Lodge is one of the very best places we have stayed at in the UK and we intend to return.

We loved our stay again at Camden Lodge. It’s our favourite place to stay. A beautiful property with every detail thought about. The rooms are large with a very large bed and an area to sit and relax with a book. You can see the mountains from the bed. The en suite shower room is fitted out to a very high standard and the shower is super powerful. The room has a fridge with fresh milk and bottled water supplied. The breakfast room also has great views of the mountains. Breakfast is freshly cooked with a great choice. Fresh fruit and cereals are also available. Parking is easy and available for all. There are good restaurants within walking distance in Brecon. There is also a theatre in Brecon that we like to visit. The hosts are so lovely and know the Brecon Beacons well. We always learn new things to do when we talk to them.

This wonderful B&B is rated 5.0 on Google for a great many reasons - starting with how wonderful Elaine and her family are as hosts! The location is ideal - on a ridge above downtown Brecon with amazing views of Pen e Fan and the Brecon Beacons. Elaine gave us timely advice on hiking and dining. Breakfast is first rate but almost too much food. The rooms are perfect with nice touches but can get warm with southern exposure so crack open a window in the afternoon. Overall - a wonderful place and we hope to be back!

Rooms are very big and comfortable, very good shower, good breakfast. Very nice people, welcoming. The days were very hot, a fan in the room would have been very useful. Views were anazing
