What guests say
Because this is a B&B, the first two things I will commend are the super comfy bed and the breakfast. The coffee was lovely (and there was a decaf option too!), and the scrambled eggs had just the perfect texture. There were three choices of breakfast to choose from every day, plus fruit juice and toast with jam on top of that. Delicious home-made blackcurrant jam! Christine is so lively and friendly; talking to her for a bit in the mornings was a pleasure. I really liked that you feel cared for, and unlike in other accommodations where contacting someone through WhatsApp is a nightmare, every time we contacted Christine, she replied quite quickly and was always really helpful. Also, she offered lots of good food and drink recommendations. The bedroom is well thought through and has everything you might need (a place to sit down, a hair dryer, plenty of sockets, and it is well lit). It was very clean and nicely decorated. I felt the price was very fair. There was a fireplace ready to use in the living room if we wanted to use it, but it wasn't cold enough! We might need to return to see Pen y Fan in the winter and try out the fireplace too!

Had a lovely stay at Ty Helyg. Christine and Dafydd couldnt have been more accomodating and welcoming. Breakfast was brilliant, obvuously uses quality ingredients. Rooms comfortable and best beds bar my own by far. We have found our new home from home when visiting family in Brecon.

We had the pleasure of spending three nights at this beautiful guest house. Christine couldn't have been more accommodating or kind. The beds were super comfortable, warm and clean. Breakfast was always yummy. Be it her delicious compote and yogurt or the fry. We'll be back again, no doubt!
