We've been fortunate enough to stay here twice and stay in different rooms. Nigel & Myfanwy are very friendly and accommodating. They care about their visitors. My husband is well over 6ft tall so they suggested a room with higher ceilings for our second visit. The breakfast is outstanding and they can cater for Coeliac disease. Although situated very near the centre of Brecon it is not at all noisy. Coming and going is easy and communication on arrival and during our stay was easy. The rooms are lovely with beautiful views of the Beacons.

I have stayed at Mount Street House many times Myfanwy and Nigel are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. .. breakfast cooked fresh to order, plenty of refreshments in our room. Beautiful area right in the centre of town.

We had a fantastic stay at Mount Street House, a charming guest house perfectly located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The room was beautifully presented, clean, and very comfortable. Check-in and check-out were quick and seamless, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The property is in a picturesque town with easy access to local shops, cafes, and some of the best hiking trails in the Brecon Beacons. I highly recommend Mount Street House as the ideal base.

We have just got back from a weekend stay at Mount Street House. The house is stunning and has been renovated to an extremely high standard. It’s in a lovely quiet location but only a couple of minutes walk to town. We had a warm welcome and our room was beautiful and had an amazing view of the mountains. All toiletries and drinks/ biscuits were of a high quality. The bed was so comfortable and we slept really well. Bathroom was spotless and the shower was hot and strong. Breakfast was amazing. So fresh and the produce used was of an amazing quality. Brecon itself is fab. We walked to Corn Du in snowy conditions which was an adventure. The first night we had food in the local Indian restaurant which was lovely and the second night we had craft beers and homemade pies in Brecon Tap which is worth a visit. We would definitely stay at Mount Street House again and I highly recommend it.
