What visitors say

Borrego Straughn

Alexandra Park feels like a proper slice of old-school Victorian charm right in Hastings, with its winding paths, formal flowerbeds and a big boating lake that’s especially nice on a sunny day. The terraced slopes give you decent views back across the town and out to sea, while the playground, café and open lawns make it handy for families or anyone just wanting a gentle wander. It’s popular with locals but never feels too manicured or crowded, so you can usually find a quiet bench or a shady spot under the trees. 🌳🌊✨

"Alexandra Park is a lovely, well-maintained green space perfect for a relaxing afternoon. The pathways are great for a morning run or a leisurely stroll, and the views from the top are beautiful. The playground area is fantastic for children, offering a good variety of equipment. It can get a bit busy on sunny weekends, but overall, it's a valuable community asset. Highly recommend for families and dog walkers!"

Well maintained and an excellent place to take a walk to experience ponds, flowerbeds, wooded areas and open green areas. Cafes and toilets on site. A mini train ride and very small crazy golf. There are also bookable tennis courts and a free table tennis table.
