I was made to feel very welcome as the proprietor greeted me and explained the workings of this friendly guesthouse. The room was clean and contained everything a weary traveller could want. The bed was comfortable and I slept as well as I ever have. Close to all amenities in Chester, everything within walking distance. Beverages and biscuits supplied as well as a hair drier. The room could accurately be described as a home from home. If I ever go back to Chester I'll definitely be staying at the Grosvenor Place Guest House again.

A clean and comfortable room right in the city centre, but quiet and peaceful nonetheless. Excellent customer service, friendly welcome and helpful information given. A lot of stairs - but that's good for us!

Excellent location. They do offer parking in a secret location but decided to park at Linenhall as we always do when we stay in Chester. Room,although on the small side was clean and comfortable with fresh milk in the fridge. Hosts were very welcoming and we were able to leave our luggage there when we arrived…albeit a lot earlier than we advised. Will definitely stay again

I think this was my fourth stay at Grosvenor Place and I keep coming back because it's central but also hidden away and pretty quiet. Clean, cozy, warm in winter and cool in summer due to the original large sash windows that you can open fully. Always fresh milk and water in glass bottles in the mini fridge. Management friendly and welcoming. I'll be back again soon!!
