About ibis Bridgwater M5 Jct23
A functional, four-storey block built for convenience rather than character, ibis Bridgwater M5 Jct23 sits on Woodlands Court Business Park right by the motorway junction, making it an easy stop for both business trips and journeys further into Somerset. With 144 rooms it's a sizeable property, and rooms come with air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms and reliable Wi-Fi, with family and accessible options available alongside drinks and room service for those who'd rather not leave their floor.
Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar, a snack bar and outdoor seating in the garden or picnic area, plus a proper breakfast spread, packed lunches and kids' meals for families on the move. Meeting rooms and concierge services suit business guests, while an electric vehicle charge point and on-site parking (chargeable) cover the practicalities, though a few rooms could do with a bit more upkeep.
Outside, the area offers golf, fishing, cycling and walking routes, along with pubs and restaurants nearby for evenings out. Pets are welcome too, making this a straightforward base for exploring Bridgwater and the wider Somerset countryside.

Amazing hotel! Stayed here with my family for a weekend stay. From the moment we walked in the two ladies at the front desk were ever so friendly. We were greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcoming feeling. The rooms were perfect for me snd my family as we had a family room which was perfect for us. Bridgwater is a very small town so after speaking with Olivia and Lilly at reception they had recommended some amazing family activities to do as well as places to dine out. As we didn’t eat at the restaurant we did use the bar and the selection of drinks were amazing and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning to the ibis!

We were visiting family in the area as well as attending the healing festival. This hotel was the perfect venue to stay! We were lucky enough to be selected as the VIP of the day which included a drinks voucher and goodies in our room. Olivia on reception was brilliant at making sure our stay was comfortable. Our rooms were not cleaned during our stay but Olivia was happy to clean our room for us and provided us with everything we needed. She was always there if we needed anything. We definitely felt like VIPS. The bar and restaurant staff were ever so friendly. Our food always came out quickly and the drinks were lovely. They even put the football on which created an amazing atmosphere in the lounge area. We were not expecting much it being a budget hotel but the rooms and downstairs felt so warm, welcoming and very luxury. We will definitely be returning!

Rooms are a basic finish as the design. No plaster on the wall and smoothed concrete. Can hear the heavy goods vehicles passing through the day and night. Good service from the staff always friendly amd helpful. Good drink selection. Food is available but seems pre made and warmed.

We stayed here last night for the first time as an alternative to a premier inn. We were skeptical at first when we walked in the room, but soon as we realised it became clear. The walls which many slated, were actually infact sealed concrete due to the heritage of the site. You get air con and heating built in too with a panel for you to make it as warm or cold as you like. This is a modern hotel, very well maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Olivia. We were checked in quick and fast within 5 minutes of arriving there and told what time breakfast and dinner were. Alot of people complained about noise of the road. It's on the end of an industrial estate, the road runs diagonal from it, if you stay during the week, you may well hear abit of rush hour in the morning and evening, but do you not get that if you choose a hotel by the road! The train track which is situationed going through the industrial estate was quiet, even though we saw about 4 trains going past. The food was lovely, we had dinner here as we wanted a chilled Saturday night, its more upmarket menu wise than your standard pub food but was tasty too. The bathroom was modern and clean, water pressure was amazing and when the hotel is busy it maybe less pressure but your get that everywhere. We would definitely look at staying at an ibis again. 😊
