About Hudsons

Travellers after an easy base for exploring Brighton without the hassle of city parking will find Hudsons a practical choice. This 11-room guest accommodation on Devonshire Place puts the Royal Pavilion and Brighton Pier within easy reach, making it suited to short breaks, sightseeing trips or a stopover before heading further along the coast.

Rooms come with air conditioning and free WiFi, and breakfast is served on-site alongside a restaurant and bar for guests who prefer not to venture out in the evening. There's a garden for a bit of outdoor space, plus practical extras such as luggage storage, laundry service, and meeting rooms and business services for those combining leisure with work.

Free on-site parking is a genuine plus in a city where that's often hard to come by. Feedback on the property has been mixed rather than uniformly glowing, so guests should expect a functional, well-placed stay rather than a luxury one, with the location doing much of the work.

Location really good, staff very helpful and the place was spotlessly clean. Old school decor but functional. Greeted with a smile and let us check in early. Let us buy parking permits that were much cheaper than car parks around. We had a good stay over

My husband and I booked last minute at this hotel and Sandra the manager was very helpful, when booking she explained the only room she had left was small and on the top floor which it definitely was but we were aware of this and £80 for a Saturday night in June the centre of Brighton walking 10 minutes to the pier and lanes was an absolute bargain so if you’re looking fir somewhere clean and very reasonable to lay your head you can’t go wrong and a parking permit from the hotel for just £13 was also very reasonable for this area.

Had a pleasant stay here, for a night! Room appeared to be clean, and the ensuite bathroom was well kept albeit small. The room felt pleasantly nostalgic in it decor, and the overall decor was friendly and homely. The manager on site was informative and friendly, and checked us in very quickly even before the usual check-in time. Would stay here again!

I had a wonderful four-night stay at the Hudson Hotel. The room was spacious and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, and a TV. It was nice to have daily refreshed water bottles, along with plenty of tea and coffee. The host, Sandra, was incredibly kind and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place!
