About Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront
Kings Road runs along Brighton's seafront, with the pebble beach and Palace Pier on one side and the city's shops and lanes on the other, and it's here that Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront makes its home. Many rooms look straight out over the water, putting guests within easy walking distance of the SEA LIFE aquarium and the Royal Pavilion.
The hotel has 210 rooms across four floors, including family and accessible options, all with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and room service. Some rooms show their age, though the beds are comfortable and the spaces kept clean. Breakfast is a highlight, with a buffet that stretches to an omelette station and pancakes. There's also a restaurant, bar and snack bar on-site, plus an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and gym for anyone wanting to unwind after a day on the coast.
Staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and the hotel also handles meetings, weddings and business trips with dedicated meeting rooms and concierge support. Outside, the area is well suited to cycling and walking along the front, with watersports, fishing and golf nearby, and plenty of pubs and restaurants within reach. On-site parking is available for a charge.

Honestly one of the best UK hotels I have stayed in. Plenty of staff on hand at reception, breakfast, dinner and the bar. The whole hotel was incredibly spacious, yet felt intimate. Could not be in a better location. Front door opens onto the beach and the back door opens into The Lanes.

The only slight negative is that the air con in the main atrium at times was a little too cool, but having said that we purposely chose this hotel partly as it had air con. Only mentioning it as cannot think of anything other than it all was amazing and a really lovely hotel, with all staff friendly and helpful. Also great location for the best restaurants and bars.

Excellent hotel. Very convenient location. Quite a lot of noise from disco on sea front (I had a front facing room). This continued into the night. Not the hotel's fault, but I am a bit surprised the local council does not regulate this.

This was our base when we saw Moby at On The Beach, friendly staff on reception, really comfy room (got a free upgrade) with sea view, nicely soundproofed from main road outside, nice powerful shower and comfy bed. Breakfast was relaxed with a good choice of food. And a great base for exploring Brighton. Highly recommended.
