A 107-room Brighton hotel on Kings Road with sea-view rooms, an indoor pool, sauna and gym, close to the pier.
About Queens Hotel
Many of the 107 rooms at Queens Hotel look straight out over the sea, a rare feature for a property this close to the centre of Brighton on Kings Road. Beds are comfortable and rooms have a good amount of space, though upkeep is inconsistent and some can feel a little tired around the edges.
Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar, breakfast service, and free WiFi throughout, with air conditioning to keep things comfortable. The leisure facilities are a particular strength: an indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna and steam room give guests reason to stay in as much as go out. There's also a garden, meeting rooms, concierge services and the hotel takes on weddings too, backed up by luggage storage and free on-site parking for those driving down.
The location puts Brighton Pier and the Royal Pavilion within easy reach, along with the wider run of seafront and city attractions. Staff are consistently helpful, which counts for a lot on a stay that mixes sea views with the practical business of getting around a busy seaside town.

What guests say
Wonderful hotel right on sea front. Nice size rooms. We enjoyed the breakfast and also was lovely having the pool and steam room and sauna. Staff very friendly, approachable and reactive and eager to help wherever they can. Kids got a bag of goodies on checking in too which was lovely. Defo recommended, would absolutely go back!

The room was clean and huge. It had tea and coffee facilities, and iron and safe. Around the hotel looked tired in places with chipped paint and a bit shabby, although the bar and restaurant areas were good. Having a dead fish floating in a redundant fish in the lobby wasn't four star look and not nice for families with children to see! We were kept awake literally all night by hearing people walk and bang about above our room. When I mentioned this I was told I should have rung down but as hotel was full I am not sure what they would have done. My friend got an hour's sleep sadly (it was ger birthday treat from me). The wine (and we tried 3 different types) was bitter so please upgrade to a better quality. The pub across the road had fab wine as did Zizzi! The nearest toilet in the hotel was in the depths by the spa down stairs- too far. Pool nice but cold, sauna and steam room good. Staff helpful and polite. I have stopped in many hotels around the world and would not give this hotel 4 stars. It needs to update and redecorate!

Stayed here during a business trip. Pros: 1) The view is absolutely stunning, definitely the highlight of the stay. 2) Breakfasts were good and enjoyable. Cons: 1) Unfortunately, the staff lacks basic hospitality. They were neither polite nor helpful. Simple gestures like greeting guests or wishing them a safe trip were missing, and no one offered assistance with luggage. 2) Housekeeping was disappointing. I requested cleaning once during my stay, and even then, basic things were overlooked: the iron and hair dryer were left out. The iron itself was in very poor condition and unusable. 3) Wi-Fi was unreliable and often didn’t work. 4) Friday night was extremely noisy due to what seems to be a party night, it was difficult to rest. Overall: Despite the beautiful view, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There are likely better options with both a great view and much better service.

We had the most amazing experience at this Hotel. It was my birthday weekend, and they delivered in all areas. Anything we requested was met. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The spa has a lovely pool, sauna and steam room, that was so pleasant and easy to use. The room was so clean , the views were spectacular, the bed was so comfy to sleep on. The location was perfect, with everything we wanted, right on the door step, it seemed. We will 100% be staying here again, in fact, we are about to book this beautiful place for my birthday again !! Thank you Queens Hotel and all your staff, for the most incredible birthday weekend !! 😁🎆💓🌿💞
