Noakes Farm Riding Centre

My daughter has attended the riding school for 4 lessons....so far and im sure there will be many more. As a riding school the facilities are superb. Safety helmets, body protection jackets and boots are available to all participants at no extra charge. The arenas are all enclosed, give good footing and are all clean and free of debris. The trainers/staff are all lovely and always make time to talk to any apprehensive/anxious parents (that would be me 😊) The training i have witnessed has been praised driven which is priceless when you see your child's face light up. Each pony/horse is matched with each individual student depending on their experience and skill level. When you arrive you walk past some of the stables and the ponies/horses all appeared to be cared for and well looked after. They're more than happy for a nose rub and a scratch behind the ears! (My daughter tells me that you should always ask before petting the horses). A genuinely lovely riding school that is inclusive to riders of all abilities. The only downside is the ear-ache i get on the way home 'dad, can I come again tomorrow please'. Its relentless!

Booked a one hour hack whilst visiting the area on holiday. Booking was made really easy, all the staff were so helpful and friendly. Horses were very well cared for and the farm and area around is beautiful, perfect area for hacking on a summers day. Had such a lovely time thank you.

I booked a private lesson for my three daughters aged 9,9 and 6 whilst we were visiting the area from Edinburgh. It was an excellent experience. I’d arranged for a lesson followed by a hack. My daughters have not ridden much and I found the whole set up slick and professional…met by Sallie as we got out the car, shown the kit room to get boots, helmet and body armour. They started in the arena and Sallie’s instructional ability is brilliant. Clear, timely and confidence boosting for the girls - and within 20 minutes had them trotting around the arena. After an hour we headed out for a long hack around the farm grounds which was lovely. This was a much better set up compared to a number of other places I’ve taken them to, and I thought very reasonably priced too. We will definitely be back the next time we’re down.

A really wonderful riding school! My daughter has SEN, can be very quiet and lacks confidence. The team here are brilliant with her and she's really progressed her riding skills over the past few months.
