We came here for a birthday meal and had a fantastic time, service was great especially our waitress Cecilia who looked after us excellently throughout our meal. It is always good to be served by someone so friendly and supportive with establishing what on the menu was gluten free and explaining what could be altered or had as is, most of the menu except for deserts The cocktails were fantastic. The rum punch was sweet with a good rum kick and the margarita was not too spicey while still leaving our lips tingling. The rhubarb and ginger cocktail was good too. We particularly enjoyed the starters, the pork belly was so soft and tender accompanied by fantastic sauces. My highlight was the deep fried mullet, thin crispy batter and full of flavour. The wiri wiri lamb was excellent, cooked to preference, for me nice and pink. I loved the smoked rice and peas, full of smoke, we preferred these to the jollof. The jerk chicken was moist and full of flavour though we would have liked a little more spice. The chicken bon bon was crispy and delicious. The plantain was delicious too. Overall we thought the restaurant was very reasonably priced for the high quality of the food, we spent £150 for starters, mains with sides and drinks. We enjoyed everything, and thought they largely did a great job of keeping carribean flavours while serving great fine dining food.

We were so happy that we got to experience this restaurant. We were lucky to get in as we were a walk in family of 4 on a beautiful Saturday in May and were warned by multiple sources to have a back up plan. The hostess was wonderful as I explained that my mom was visiting us from the US and was leaving the next day but had spoken about this restaurant since she arrived. She got us in and said that we could have the table until 7 (we were there at 4:30) and I think I actually squeeled. Our server was wonderful (I want to say her name was Mel but I'm not sure) and the service was great. She gave us her recommendations and was very helpful especially with choices for my young son. We started with the chicken curry nuggets, salt fish beignets and the soft shell crabs. ALL were delicious but the stand out was the soft shell crab which blew our minds and remains our favorite. My husband and son had the jerk chicken and loved it. It was helpful that it was off the bone for our son and perfectly spiced. We all opted for the rice and peas but next time I'm definitely trying the jollof rice. I had the perfectly cooked pan seared stone bass and my mom had the traditional oxtail which was huge in portion size and flavor. The only dessert was the plaintain cake and honestly, it was so light and delicious I'm not fussed that there wasn't more choice but my son was hoping for an ice cream but we got that later on the walk home.

Sublime Caribbean done extremely well. They’ve earned their place in the Michelin Guide, so one to watch out for. Everything from start to finish was exceptional - the drinks, service, vibes and most importantly, the food. A real nice mix of people, from families to dates, enjoying quality authentic food at this gem of a restaurant. I went for the oxtail but friends had the jerk chicken and the duck too - all of which were great. The plantain (with skin on) and smoked rice & peas were both brilliant too. It was great to meet the owner, Nathaniel, too who has a fascinating story and deep knowledge of the menu who recommended coming down for a Sunday lunch!

I’ve just got back from an incredible meal at 2210 Natty Can Cook in Herne Hill, and I felt compelled to write this review straight away. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxed. We were greeted with genuine hospitality, shown to our table, and made to feel comfortable immediately. It was the perfect setting for what turned out to be a truly memorable evening. When the dishes were delivered, we were not disappointed. We started with roti, crispy pork, and fish fry, and every single bite set the tone for what was to come. For mains, we had the jerk chicken and the wiri wiri lamb, and again, nothing disappointed. The balance across every dish was spot on, bold, vibrant flavours and exactly what you would expect from authentic, on-point elevated Caribbean cookery. We enjoyed every last mouthful. To accompany the meal, we had some fantastic cocktails, including the standout scotch bonnet margaritas, which were absolutely brilliant and added an extra kick to the evening. The service throughout was just as impressive as the food, attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate. It was my birthday, and I was even treated to a complimentary drink, which was a lovely touch. Nat himself came out to speak with us, took the time to check in, and mentioned that they’ll soon be starting breakfast service, which we will definitely be returning to try. Overall, the experience was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. A big thank you to the whole team at 2210 Natty Can Cook, what a fantastic experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Will and Rebecca
