Greenhaven Lodge
Broadland
Greenhaven Lodge is a single-storey detached conversion set within private grounds, offering a retreat for two people seeking space and seclusion. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living and dining area with Freeview television and DVD player, a kitchen equipped for everyday cooking, a double bedroom, and an ensuite wet room with shower. The essentials—electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels—are covered, and a welcome pack arrives with you.
The real draw is the enclosed courtyard garden with patio furniture and hot tub, completely private and fenced. You can park two cars on site. A dog is welcome to stay at no extra charge; there is a fenced pond in the owner's grounds to be aware of. The village centre—with shop and pub—is a short walk away. Walking and cycling routes begin at the door, making this a genuine base for exploring Norfolk rather than simply passing through.
Wroxham, gateway to the Norfolk Broads and its boat hire and river trips, lies 4 miles off. Norwich is 5 miles distant with its castle, cathedral, theatres and market. Sandy beaches feature at Sea Palling (15 miles), Waxham (16 miles) and Hemsby or Winterton-on-Sea (18 miles). National Trust properties including Blickling Hall and Felbrrigg Hall sit within the region. No smoking indoors.
