What visitors say
If you're a science aficionado then you'll be right at home here as even with its modest size, the museum packs in a breadth of information concerning the marriage of history and science. The ground floor consists of a myriad of artifacts that have played a key role in shaping the history of science and how that was and continues to be applied to the technology we have today. The most fascinating part of the museum happens to be on the first floor, with a completely decked out Victorian living room that really gives you an idea of how science moulded the every day living space - despite the limitations back then. There's also a section about globes which I found to be rather interesting. The whole museum is free to visit so definitely visit here and take in all there is to see here - you won't be disappointed.

A nice little Museum that shows different gadgets like microscopes and telescopes. It has a workshop room that is especially fun for kids and teenagers.

A lovely little gem with lots of fascinating ancient instruments plus some more modern items too. Less than an hour to look round, the upstairs was closed due to new lift works which should be finished by Easter. Very friendly helpful staff, entry is free but donations welcome.

Great place to pop into. Loads of really interesting exhibits and there was a room for kids with things to interact with. My boys ranged from 9 to 14 and I would say the kids room was probably more suited to younger children but they did enjoy taking Daphne apart and putting her organs back in place! A special mention needs to go to the lady on reception who was so friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Thank you for a great visit 😃
