Bow Cottage

Bow Cottage suits couples or small families after a quiet base close to Canterbury and the Kent coast. The cottage holds three people across two bedrooms—a super king on the first floor and a single—with one bathroom. Everything you need for self-catering is here: a kitchen with electric oven and microwave, a living room with woodburner and television, and heating and wi-fi included. Bed linen and towels come as standard.

The rear patio and enclosed garden give you outdoor space, complete with furniture, a chiminea and barbecue. One well-behaved pet stays free. The property sits on a road where parking is available, and additional private parking for one car can be arranged on request. Note that the stairs are steep and narrow, and there is a fenced pond in the garden.

Fordwich itself is walkable—shops lie a quarter-mile away and two pubs are 100 yards off. From here you can reach the cathedral city of Canterbury in minutes, cycle the Crab and Winkle Way, or drive to Whitstable or Herne Bay for the coast. Train services run regularly to London.
