Puxton Lodge
Canterbury
Puxton Lodge works well for small families or two couples wanting a self-contained break in the Kent countryside. The property sleeps up to six across two bedrooms—a king on the first floor with ensuite bath and shower, and a zip-and-link room that can be configured as a super king or two singles. Downstairs there's a second bathroom with walk-in shower, plus a living and dining space with a sofa bed for extra guests, and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking your own meals. Everything from electricity to bed linen and towels is included, along with wi-fi and underfloor heating.
Outside, an enclosed lawned garden with patio and barbecue looks over open countryside. There's parking for two cars on site and an electric charging point if needed. The property sits near Stodmarsh village and its nature reserve, making it a good base for walks and cycling; a pub is within a mile. Canterbury's cathedral and cobbled centre lie fifteen minutes' drive away, and the coast is under eleven miles off. The approach is via a rough track, and there's a pond at the front, so children need supervising. No smoking indoors.
