Tankerton Heights

Canterbury

View on Google Maps

Tankerton Heights is a two-bedroom flat occupying the upper storey of a residential building in Tankerton, on the edge of Whitstable. The property sits on the main road, which means daytime traffic noise is part of the setting, but this placement gives straightforward access to exploring the wider area. Behind the building, views open onto Whitstable Castle and its gardens, and a quiet no-through road runs along the back. Thirty-six steps lead to the entrance.

Inside, everything is gathered on the second floor. The living and dining room has a Freeview Smart TV. The kitchen is equipped for real cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine all present. One bedroom contains a double bed (4ft 6in), the other two singles (3ft each). The bathroom has a bath with shower over and a heated towel rail. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One car can park on site. The flat does not permit smoking.

Whitstable's beaches and harbour lie a five-minute walk away, alongside independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants scattered through the town. Whitstable train station, twelve minutes on foot, runs direct services to London Victoria and St Pancras. A nearby bus stop connects to Canterbury and Herne Bay. The area suits both couples and families seeking a coastal base at any time of year.
