What visitors say
Very disappointing. We’ve had months of hot weather and this week temperatures are reaching around 34°C, yet there is still no access to the swimming pool. At a time when local families and children need somewhere safe to cool down, there are no accessible pool facilities available in the area. A leisure centre should be supporting the community during periods of extreme heat, not leaving families with nowhere to go. The lack of swimming provision is frustrating and lets down local residents when the facility is needed most.

Used the car park and facilities overnight for the Hyrox event at the Principality. Staff are super helpful, Ben, Josh and the team. They also had a drive in cinema whilst there with in car speakers for all. Definitely worth the £20 parking charge for 24 hrs. Thanks guys.

Dysfunctional and very unhygenic gym. Very hot temperature, no AC, and always smells awful of BO and curry every time you walk in there. 1 bin for the whole gym means you need to do a journey across the gym and back every time you want to clean the equipment which believe me is ALOT. All equipment is genuinely gross. Oily, dusty, greasy, stinky, worn, old. Overall just really poor and not a nice environment. No paper towels in toilets and a blow dryer from before Christ that does nothing. Not enough plates to go around and worn equipment eg pads and equipment and bench material falling to bits and pads for squats are completely fallen to pieces. The door into the gym doesn’t even shut properly (fire door code breach) and neither does the one into the male toilets (Stink breach). Additionally the opening hours for an inner city gym is poor, shuts at 7:30 on a Friday in the big 2026 is ridiculous and blatantly just to cut costs of employing people. Also quite a few stinky sweaty Hyrox warriors with enlarged prostates and bald heads hogging equipment

Gym is spacious with equipment for all fitness levels, and there's a good range of classes. Having the swimming pull on cycle track is a bonus.
