About Campanile Hotel Cardiff

Caxton Place puts Campanile Hotel Cardiff within easy striking distance of the city centre, with transport links close by and a scattering of pubs, bars and restaurants around the corner for evenings out. Free on-site parking makes it a straightforward base whether you're driving in for business or exploring the city and beyond, and a golf course nearby gives an option for those wanting to get out into the surrounding area.

Rooms are en-suite and equipped with drinks facilities, and beds have earned a solid reputation for comfort, though some rooms show their age and could do with sprucing up. Breakfast, packed lunches and kids' meals are all available, alongside a restaurant, bar and snack bar for meals without leaving the building, and room service for anyone happy to stay put. Accessible rooms and meeting rooms are also on offer, useful for a wider range of guests.

Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and the hotel is generally seen as good value for money. Pets are welcome, adding flexibility for travellers on the road, and with entertainment and eateries close by, it works well as a no-fuss stop for exploring Cardiff.

Booked a last minute night at the hotel for the wife and I, which was very reasonably priced and included breakfast. Expectations werent very high, and when we arrived the outside of the hotel certainly looked dated. What we found though was a lovely staff member in reception, and the rooms to be pleasant and clean, with comfy beds. The breakfast was fantastic, made fresh, with continental options available too. Dont be put off by the outdated appearance, its a really nice stay!

The whole building is old and needs re vamping, 9in walkway down the side of the bed.. no table and chairs on the patio. On the plus side, room was clean, bedding clean, loads of hot water. Great people who work on reception. We would definitely come back again. For a night. X

Lovely lady on reception when we arrived on Saturday 16th. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Twin room was basic but was absolutely fine for staying the night. Clean, warm and tidy. Restaurant/bar area also looked like it had been updated. No faults and would stay again
