About Travelodge Cardiff Llanedeyrn
Travelodge Cardiff Llanedeyrn makes a handy base for exploring the city, sitting just off the A48 with easy access into Cardiff centre and the M4 beyond. A Harvester restaurant sits right next door for casual meals, and there's a golf course, pub and other eateries within reach for anyone wanting to venture a little further.
The hotel has 32 rooms spread across two floors, all with en-suite bathrooms, and accessible rooms are available on request. Rooms are well-sized and comfortable, with some featuring a notably wide bed, and drinks can be brought straight to your room. Pets are welcome, making this a practical choice for guests travelling with animals.
Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and prices remain competitive for what's on offer. Free on-site parking is provided, though it operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so spaces can be limited at busier times. With straightforward comforts and a location suited to both city visits and passing trade off the motorway, it does what's needed without frills.

What guests say
Brilliant place for a overnight. 4 stars on the rooms, as the first room we were given smelt very strongly of dogs and not acceptable. 2nd room, clean and tidy. Smelt better Front desk staff extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn't as more from one of the more dated Travelodges we've stopped at around the UK

Unfortunately I cannot give more then 2 Stars, one star for the quietness and another for the price. However the room has a mix of animal smell and a musky smell from bedding and bathroom. Although everything looked clean it didn't smell it and I had to put a jumper over my pillow to mast the smell, also TV had no signal.

Upon arrival, the carpark was very small, awkward to park and full with us having to squeeze next to a badly parked car. Receptionist was OK. The room we was given was on ground floor and as soon as we entered, it stuck of cat urine. The mattress was hard and very squeaky. Didn't get any sleep from what sounded like 2 male elephants above us, which seemed to be wrestling and slamming each other on the floor until gone midnight, then again at 3am. Told receptionist when leaving. She said she would look into it. Never again will we be staying there.
