A small 8-room hotel on Victoria Place in Carlisle, handy for Hadrian's Wall and Cumbria's walking and cycling country.
About Brooklyn House
Victoria Place sits within easy striking distance of Hadrian's Wall and the wider Cumbrian countryside, making Brooklyn House a useful base for exploring both the city and the landscape beyond it. This is a small hotel, just eight rooms, so it has the feel of a straightforward, personally run stopover rather than a large corporate operation.
Each room comes with an en-suite bathroom and drinks provided, and breakfast is included to set guests up for the day. Free WiFi and 24 hour reception cover the practical side of things, whether arriving late or working during a stay.
Outside the door, Carlisle offers pubs, bars, restaurants and entertainment within easy reach, along with a golf course nearby for those wanting to fit in a round. The surrounding area is well suited to walking and cycling, with routes leading out towards Hadrian's Wall and the open Cumbrian countryside beyond the city.

Worst possible B&b. Got stuck outside due to their padlock code and slept in the car. Unable to reach by phone any owners and unable to get my belongings out. Do not recommend at all !!!!

Always Spotlessly clean. Steve & Lynn are very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast is fantastic. Very reasonably priced. It’s our ‘digs’ of choice whenever we visit Carlisle.
