Rosehip
Cumberland

Rosehip is a substantial period townhouse in Cumberland, built to the proportions of a grander age. Set back from the street among established trees, it feels tucked away despite being a fifteen-minute walk from Carlisle's shops, museums, castle and cathedral. The house works as a genuine base rather than just a place to sleep: there is a lounge with a fireplace and Smart TV, a separate dining room with a wood burner, and a well-stocked kitchen for cooking. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included.
Upstairs are four double bedrooms—a king in the master and three further doubles—with a family bathroom containing both a bath and shower cubicle. A ground floor cloakroom serves the main living areas. The enclosed garden is private and lawned, with outdoor seating, and there is parking for one car in front of the garage plus further on-street spaces nearby.
Eight people can sleep here, though the lounge and dining room are furnished for six, which matters if you are planning to feed everyone at once. The property is non-smoking. Pubs and takeaways sit within easy reach, and a supermarket is a short drive away.
