Fab hotel and experience. Lovely host full of all the answers we needed about the local area. I was the groom who was going to be facing the congregation and everything went fantastically well, all starting with the stay at Warwick Lodge.⛪️ We took your advice about the Greek restaurant and it was spot on, including introducing us both to a new lager so thank you for that.🍺 Great location for the restaurants and the city centre and very comfy bed with exactly the breakfast I needed before the wedding. 🥓 I hope to visit again when we're next up that way but the next time it will be with my wife! 👩❤️👨 Thanks again ♥️

My daughter & I stayed here for one night after our first day of walking Hadrian's wall walk. We arrived late afternoon & was shown to our room by Caron where we had a big twin room. Caron gave us some great local advise on where to eat but, as we had just walked 17 miles we decided to cheat & use a food delivery service for our tea (we chose food from Printyard & it was excellent)... After a good night's sleep we awoke to a full English breakfast of cereals, yogurt, fruit, fruit juices, porridge & your choice of a cooked breakfast with either tea &/or coffee... Caron made us feel so welcome, I would highly recommend for anyone to stay here at this lovely & friendly B&B especially if your walking Hadrian's wall walk as it's not too far from the Sands centre to obtain your second Hadrian's wall passport stamp...

An excellent B&B close to the centre of Carlisle. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the landlady was friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly recommend.

Offered a very very comfortable stay, and is very well decorated. It has such a charming and warm atmosphere with great decor in every room. The service is amazing too! Caron is super friendly and welcoming, and is lovely to chat to. Her home cooked breakfast tasted great and was presented nicely, with alternative options available too like cereal and bread/toast. With all amenities, a unique and comfortable interior, super comfortable furniture, and only a 10 minute walk from town, I have no complaints at all. Stayed for one night as a stop off between Scotland and England, but I ended up wishing we'd stayed for longer!
