Mongolian Ger
Carmarthenshire
Woodland surrounds this Mongolian ger in rural Carmarthenshire, on the border between three counties. The setting is quiet and secluded, with rolling countryside views and grounds that include garden space, a firepit and barbecue area, plus parking on site. No smoking.
The ger itself is a single open-plan space with a double bed and two singles, a kitchen with gas hob, and a wood-burning stove. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, along with initial logs for the stove. A short walk leads to shared facilities: an external shower block with cubicles and composting toilet, and a log cabin with gas cooking and wood burner. A family play area and larger firepit are also on the site, shared with other properties.
This suits couples or small families wanting a back-to-nature stay without entirely roughing it. The woodland setting and communal spaces make it workable for a relaxing break rather than somewhere to stay primarily indoors.
