The Alachigh

Rural Carmarthenshire offers quiet countryside between three county borders, and The Alachigh sits within four acres of woodland that feels genuinely remote. This is a single, spacious structure—a traditional yurt-like form—accommodating six guests in one open-plan ground-floor space. You get a double bed and four single beds, a kitchen area with gas hob, a living zone centred on a wood-burning stove, and sole use of the property throughout your stay.

The essentials are provided: electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial logs for the stove. A shared external shower room serves the site, and there is on-site parking. Outside, a garden with sitting area, garden furniture, firepit and barbecue opens onto the woodland. The site also has a communal family play area. No smoking inside. Check-in is after 14:00, checkout before 11:00.
