What visitors say
A small but impressive gem in Cheam, Sutton. Informative exhibition on the history of Cheam and Nonsuch Palace, supplemented with lively animated artefacts. There’s a small cafe inside the museum.

Rather unassuming but so glad we went in, a surprising amount to see and learn about, both of the house itself and the palace that stood on the park. We were lucky to go in on a day when they were offering free tours which I massively recommend. So much thanks to the amazing staff who showed us around and taught us so much.

A great place to visit with the best cafe in Cheam - has a large garden to drink your coffee and eat your cake in. Kids welcome with activities for them to do. Highly recommend.

Adorable little house and great history. I really loved visiting Whitehall. We had a great tour guide who told us all the history of the house. The Whitehall was once visited by Queen Elizabeth I, well probably, but I like to believe it was! Really worth paying a visit and looking at original walls from the 1500s. Entry is free. There is also a little café.
