About Holiday Inn London - Sutton
Rooms at Holiday Inn London - Sutton come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and drinks on hand, along with the option of room service if you'd rather not leave the building. Family rooms and accessible rooms are available across the hotel's five floors, and a lift makes getting to them straightforward. That said, some rooms have been reported as a little tired around the edges, so it's worth setting expectations accordingly rather than expecting a fresh refurbishment.
Downstairs, the hotel makes up for it with a solid range of facilities: an indoor swimming pool, gym and sauna give guests a proper reason to linger, and the breakfast buffet is a consistent highlight. There's also a restaurant and bar on-site, kids' meals for families, and business services and meeting rooms for anyone travelling with work in mind. Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful, and on-site parking is available, though it comes at an extra cost.
The hotel sits near Sutton town centre with easy transport links into Greater London, making it a practical base for exploring the capital without paying central London prices. Nearby you'll also find a golf course, pubs and restaurants for evenings when you'd rather eat out. With 119 rooms and rates from £75 to £300, it suits both quick overnight stops and longer stays.
What guests say
We only stayed one night but it was a pleasant experience. As previous reviews say, you have to pay for parking upon arrival - there was a pay machine near reception. Breakfast was fine. You can ask for extra food like pancakes and gluten free or vegan based products too. Didn't get a chance to use the pool as it was closed from 8 pm onwards but this is an added bonus. Rooms were spacious and can accommodate 4 adults to a room if needed. We got the last room on the floor and there was no disturbance.

There’s nothing fundamentally wrong with this hotel, but there are newer and older rooms. The older rooms are literally falling apart. The newest ones are fine. Staff were lovely. Family rooms and pool make it a good spot with kids.

As soon as we arrived in our room on Tuesday 20th May, what a disappointment! Dated and dirty!! The bathroom was appalling. Do the cleaners actually clean, I wonder? The bathroom tiles were so dirty and the mat we were supposed to put on the bath base was disgusting, I didnt want to touch it! Behind the bathroom door had been roughly replastered and just left! Hairs left by the previous occupants on the chipped bathroom floor! The carpets and skirting boards were filthy too! The evidence is in the pics I took! Spoke to the receptionist and mentioned how awful it was and she replied that the superior rooms had been upgraded! Paying £116 per night with no breakfast included and £15 car park fee I felt we were totally ripped off!! We will never stay in a Holiday Inn again after this experience of your Sutton Hotel!

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was good but the air con was a bit sketchy. Room was also clean. Close to Surbiton centre. Prices at reception for a small bag of crisps were a joke, but that’s hotel prices and I didn’t buy them. Would stay again.
