The Cambrian Mountains rise around Tregaron and the surrounding villages, their slopes crossed by drovers' paths and hill tracks that now make for walking and cycling in one of mid-Wales' quieter corners. Cwm Dulas Cottage stands on a working Highland cattle farm, a converted rural building set down its own drive with parking for two cars and a garden that overlooks open country. The village of Llanddewi Brefi lies 2½ miles away; Tregaron itself, with its shops and restaurants, is 3 miles further on.
The whole property is yours alone. Two bedrooms sleep four: one with a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower, the other with two singles. A family bathroom has a bath and shower. Downstairs, an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area runs the depth of the property, with patio doors opening to the garden and patio. You have everything needed to cook properly – oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave – as well as a wood-effect electric heater, a 50-inch smart TV, and Wi-Fi throughout. Bed linen, towels and heating are included. The cottage draws water from a natural spring on the grounds.
No smoking. There are three steps in the garden, and a fenced stream runs through the property.
